I said yesterday that trailer music deserves its own page in iTunes, and here’s one of the reasons why: a lot of trailer music isn’t written by the composers who score the film. In this case, the rights to Two Steps From Hell’s music was acquired by Paramount / Bad Robot to promote the 2009 J.J. Abrams epic Star Trek. You thus won’t find it on the CD of Michael Giacchino’s score.
